Conerix is a legitimate communications platform with active moderation, sender verification, and automatic protections. This page documents the policies, technical controls, and processes that apply to every account.
Core principles
- Sender accountability — every sender is identified, verified, and bound to an approved set of message types and destinations.
- Automated controls — rate limits, velocity monitoring, spam filtering, and link scanning are enforced before traffic leaves our network.
- Human review — edge cases, new senders, and risk-flagged campaigns are routed to a moderation queue staffed by humans.
Acceptable traffic
Conerix supports a clear set of legitimate use cases. Anything outside these categories requires explicit pre-approval.
Allowed
- OTP and 2FA — one-time passwords and authentication codes.
- Transactional alerts — order, shipping, payment, and account updates.
- Service notifications — appointment reminders, support follow-ups, ticket updates.
- Consented marketing — opt-in campaigns with documented consent and opt-out.
Prohibited
- Unsolicited bulk SMS without verifiable consent or opt-out.
- Phishing, smishing, and social engineering impersonating banks, carriers, or platforms.
- Illegal goods or services including unregulated finance, gambling, or pharmaceuticals.
- Hate speech, harassment, or fraud of any kind.
Automatic protections
Every outbound message is evaluated by a chain of automated checks. Traffic that fails the checks is rejected, queued for review, or rate-limited before it reaches a carrier.
- Rate limiting — per-account and per-sender ceilings that scale with verified trust.
- Duplicate detection — identical payloads sent in short windows are deduplicated automatically.
- Link scanning — shortened, newly registered, and known-malicious URLs are flagged or blocked.
- Spam keyword monitoring — pattern matching against known phishing and abuse vocabulary.
- Velocity monitoring — unusual sending bursts trigger automatic throttling and human review.
- Country restrictions — geofences for destinations that prohibit specific message categories.
- Fraud scoring — behavioral models score each campaign against patterns we have seen abused before.
Sender approval workflow
Sender IDs and short codes are reviewed before they go live. The process is transparent and observable from the console.
- Submit — provide your sender ID, traffic category, sample messages, and destination countries.
- Verify business — share business registration, website, and use case documentation. KYC where required by carriers.
- Compliance review — our team validates the campaign type, consent, and content against carrier and regional rules.
- Approval and tracking — approved senders are registered with carriers; status is visible in the dashboard at every step.
Account trust and limits
New accounts begin with conservative limits. Capacity unlocks as we observe consistent, legitimate traffic.
